UPDATE: Missing woman found

A missing Sarnia woman has been found safe.

Pamela D'Alessandro was reported missing after last being seen around 4:30 p.m. Saturday walking a dog in Warwick Township.

The West Region Canine Unit, Emergency Response Team and OPP Aviation Services searched for the missing 69-year-old woman throughout the evening.

Lambton OPP say D'Alessandro was located just after 8 a.m. Sunday, and Lambton EMS attended the scene as a precaution.

OPP thank the public for their help in the matter.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
