Tree trimmer dangling upside down rescued by Sarnia firefighters

Firefighters rescued a man stuck in a tree 30 feet in the air Saturday.

Sarnia Fire and Rescue responded at around 1:30 p.m. to a home on Hall Street.

The man, who was tree trimming at the time, was found hanging upside down from a branch when firefighters arrived.

He was brought down with the help of the ladder truck and examined by Lambton EMS on scene as a precaution.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
