Bluewater Borderfest postponed to 2021

If you had tickets to attend Bluewater Borderfest this month, you'll have to save them for next year.

The music festival has postponed its event until June 24 - 26, 2021.

Organizers posted the announcement in a Facebook message Friday.

"Due to the global pandemic COVID-19, and as directed by the Provincial mandates, we are regretfully unable to host this year's event," the message read.

"We can not thank you enough for being the loyal and passionate music fans that you are in the Sarnia-Lambton community, and there’s nothing we want more than to bring you a summer kick off music festival that songs and memories are made of, especially now when it feels so needed."

Organizers say ticket holders can keep them for the 2021 dates.

"Our Lady Peace and Finger Eleven are rescheduled to perform on Saturday, June 26th, while Randy Houser and Morgan Evans have been rescheduled to perform on Thursday, June 24th."
