Upgrades planned at St. Philip in Petrolia

St. Philip Catholic School in Petrolia is getting some upgrades over the summer.

The St. Clair Catholic School Board of Trustees has approved a contract to replace two existing heat pumps, and install a new rooftop unit at the Queen Street site.

The board said the building controls system will also be replaced.

Bill Hoekstra General Contracting of Sarnia was awarded the nearly $326,000 job.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
