OPP investigate fatal collision in St. Clair Township

Lambton OPP say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving two other vehicles in St. Clair Township early Tuesday morning.

Police, Lambton Emergency Medical Services and the St. Clair Fire Department responded to the 2000 block of St. Clair Parkway at around midnight.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at hospital. The identity is being withheld until next-of-kin notification has been completed.

St. Clair Parkway between Stanley Line and White Line reopened after being closed for several hours.

OPP say motorcycle fatalities are up 300 per cent over last year.

There were four fatal crashes last month, including a head-on collision in St. Thomas that killed a 60-year-old Courtright man.
