Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in crash

Sarnia police are looking for witnesses after a 63-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to the northwest corner of Exmouth and Capel Streets at around 2:15 p.m.

The woman was taken to Bluewater Health and then transported to London Hospital.

The 40-year-old driver of the vehicle was not hurt.

The Sarnia Police Service Traffic Unit is still investigating.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
