OPP say impaired driver blows three times legal limit

A St. Clair Township woman is facing charges after allegedly blowing over three times the legal limit.

Lambton OPP responded to a call from a concerned citizen at around 8 a.m.on June 6 for a possible impaired driver on St. Clair Parkway.

Police pulled over the vehicle and it's alleged the driver was showing signs of impairment.

She was taken to OPP headquarters where she allegedly failed a breath test.

The 29-year-old is charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs and having a blood alcohol concentration over 80.

She will appear in Sarnia court on September 7.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
