Suspect photo released in construction site robbery

Sarnia police are looking for suspects who allegedly stole tools from a construction site in the city early Tuesday morning.

Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers released a photo of one of two suspects believed to be involved in the theft in The Rapids Parkway subdivision just after 4 a.m. June 9.

A trailer was broken into and two industrial tools were taken, a pipe laser and a water main cap machine, with a combined value of over $5,000.

The theft is posted as the Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week. Anyone with information can call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or leave a tip anonymously online at www.p3tips.com.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
