Four new cases of COVID-19 in Sarnia-Lambton

Lambton Public Health reported late Saturday that there are now 285 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Sarnia-Lambton, up four from Friday with the number of recoveries up two to 243.

The death toll remains at 25.

In it’s daily update Sunday, Bluewater Health reported that there were no patients currently in hospital with the virus while 26 were suspected of having it with tests pending.

There are two institutional outbreaks – at Afton Park Place where a staff member recently tested positive, and at Bluewater Health where four staff members were confirmed positive as of Saturday night.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
