Anishinabek police seize pills, cash during traffic stop

Anishinabek police seized about 100 oxycodone pills worth $10,000 in a traffic stop last Thursday.

Police stopped a vehicle on West Ipperwash Road in Lambton Shores at around 6 p.m. and seized the pills and a large quantity of cash and coin.

Kevin Shawnoo, 60, of Kettle Point is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
