Sarnia men arrested in Woodstock drug investigation

Two Sarnia men were arrested in Woodstock Saturday following a report of suspicious activity at a business in the south end of the city.

Woodstock police said following a drug trafficking investigation, officers seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, and Canadian currency with a combined street value of $56,000.

Joshua Brown, 34, of Sarnia faces charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, weapons dangerous, and failing to comply with a judicial release.

Details about the second suspect have not been released.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
