Young Sarnia singer runner-up in talent contest (VIDEO)

A young Sarnia singer was able to carry a tune to a second-place finish at a recent Toronto-based talent show.

Charlize Lefebvre, 11, was the runner-up in this year’s Moksha Canada Foundation’s You Got Talent Competition, which featured 43 contestants.

Earlier this month, the Sarnia-Lambton community helped vote Charlize into the semi-finals of the contest.

"Thank you to everyone in the community who voted for me," said Charlize. "It’s because of you that I get this opportunity."

A video of the finals is posted below, with Charlize appearing at 59:38 for her performance, 1:30:32 for an interview, and at 1:46:05 for the results.
