Impaired driving charges laid in Grand Bend

Lambton OPP nabbed a pair of alleged impaired drivers in Grand Bend over the long weekend.

While on foot patrol on Government Road, officers observed a passenger in a vehicle consuming alcohol at around 4:50 p.m. Saturday. Police said while speaking with the passenger and driver, officers determined the driver to be under the influence and a roadside screening device was administered. The driver was found to be over the legal limit and was arrested.

Police said the driver provided two samples over the legal limit.
