Sarnia police seize over $50K in drugs, arrest four

Sarnia police seized over $50,000 worth of drugs and arrested four people in a bust on Martin Street Friday morning.

Just after 9 a.m., officers with the vice unit, COPPS, and criminal investigations branches executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block.

Police said they found over half-a-kilogram of methamphetamine with a street value of $52,763, 6.19 grams of cocaine worth $619, 18 milligrams of hydromorphone valued at $40, and 2.3 grams of Fentanyl with a street value of $1,150. They also seized $1,385 in cash.

Jason Lawrence Low, 34, Stacey Elizabeth King, 34, Kyle Reginald Cottrelle, 39, all of Sarnia, and Jennifer Joyce Pyette, 31, of Corunna face charges including three counts each of trafficking a controlled substance.

All four suspects were being held in custody pending bail hearings.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
