Two more COVID cases but three more recoveries

Lambton Public Health reported Friday that the number of active cases of COVID-19 dropped by one to 16.

The number of confirmed cases is up by two at 321 with 280 of those resolved, up by three.

The death toll remains at 25.

In its daily report on Friday, Bluewater Health said there are currently no patients in hospital with the virus. There were 21 patients awaiting test results including pre-surgical screening.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
