Man and woman charged with trafficking following traffic stop

A man and woman are facing drug trafficking charges after Sarnia police stopped a car in the 700 block of Michigan Avenue on August 13.

Officers pulled the vehicle over at around 10:20 p.m. as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Police found cocaine and hydromorphone pills in an initial search and later seized crystal methamphetamine, codeine, and more hydromorphone at a residence in the 900 block of Errol Road East.

The total street value of drugs seized was about $6,000.

Aaron Robert Larkman, 43, and Skye Jasmine Culverhouse, 27, both of Sarnia, are each charged with drug trafficking and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Larkman is also charged with operating a motor vehicle while prohibited.

Culverhouse was wanted by police on an outstanding warrant for theft under $5,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
