Sarnia police looking for driver after pedestrian hit

Sarnia police are looking for a driver after a pedestrian suffered serious injuries when struck by a vehicle Thursday night.

Police said it happened just after midnight on Elizabeth Avenue between Logan and Exmouth streets.

Officers arrived to find a male victim on the ground.

He was transferred to a London hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A white Dodge pickup truck was found not far from the collision scene, without the driver.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
