Sarnia realtor's murder still unsolved after 32 years

A 32-year-old unsolved murder is featured as this week's Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week.

Sarnia Real EstateAgent Morag Davies was last seen by a visiting co-worker on the night of August 23, 1988.

When she failed to show up at work, co-workers returned to her Retlaw Drive home on August 25 and found the 45-year-old dead of multiple stab wounds in her bedroom. The murder weapon was never recovered.

The Sarnia Police Service is still convinced someone out there has information that could lead to the identification of the suspect or suspects.

They said Ms. Davies deserves justice and her family deserves closure.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
