Police investigation on Aamjiwnaang First Nation

Aamjiwnaang residents are being advised to stay inside during a police investigation.

Few details are known at this point but residents are being told to not open doors to anyone or pick anyone up at this time.

Sarnia police told Blackburn News that officers are responding to a weapons call but further details could not be released at this time.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
