Lambton OPP investigating fatal collision in Plympton-Wyoming

Lambton OPP are investigating a fatal single vehicle crash in the Camlachie area.

Police said at about 7:45 a.m. Sunday they responded, along with EMS and firefighters, to the intersection of Queen Street and Fleming Road in Plympton-Wyoming.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

OPP West Region Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) were called in and police had the intersection of Queen Street and Fleming Drive closed until about 3:30 p.m.

Police said the identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
