Alleged drug impaired man arrested after yelling obscenities at bank

A 31-year-old Sarnia man is charged with drug-impaired driving after a bizarre incident on Saturday in which a man was seen and heard yelling obscenities at a London Road bank.

City police were called to the 1200 block at around 4:30 p.m. after a witness spotted a vehicle driving quickly into the bank parking lot and squealling the tires.

It's alleged the man parked in a no parking zone, got out of the vehicle, and began acting erratically.

After being arrested and transported to the station, police said the man refused to complete a drug evaluation.

His driver’s licence is immediately suspended for 90 days and his vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
