Weir steady performer on Champions Tour so far

Mike Weir finished tied for 21st at the SAS Championship in North Carolina over the weekend.

The Bright's Grove lefty finished the 54 hole Champions Tour event at 4 under par, 8 strokes back of winner Ernie Els.

Weir is 31st on the money list with just under $300,000 in earnings through 7 events.

His best finish so far this season was a tie for fourth place at the PURE Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach.

The next event on the tour is this week's Dominion Energy Charity Classic in Richmond, VA.
