Chilly, winter-like end to October

It actually looked more like winter than fall in parts of Lambton County on Friday.

Weather radar showed light snow streamers extending off Lake Huron into north and east Lambton.

No significant accumulations were reported, but there were bursts of snow reducing visibility at times.

Brisk northwest winds were expected to become light during the afternoon.

A low of -4C, 25F, is forecast for Sarnia Friday night with a wind chill of -8C, 18F by morning.

Winds will shift southerly however for Halloween Saturday and the high will climb to 8 C, 46 F.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
