Two new active COVID cases in Sarnia-Lambton

On it's website Saturday morning Lambton Public Health reported two new active cases of COVID-19 in Sarnia Lambton bringing the total to eight.

Of the 377 confirmed cases since March 25, 344 have been resolved.

An outbreak declared on October 30 at Fiddick’s Retirement Home in Petrolia is still in place after one resident tested positive.

Ontario reported 1,132 new infections Saturday, a new daily record, and 11 deaths.

As of Saturday, Bluewater Health had three COVID positive patients in hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
