Active COVID cases in Sarnia-Lambton climb to ten

In its daily update Sunday morning Lambton Public Health reported that there are two new active cases of COVID-19 in Sarnia-Lambton bringing the total to ten.

Of the 380 confirmed cases since March 25, 345 have been resolved and the death toll remains at 25.

The outbreak at Fiddick’s Retirement Home in Petrolia remains in effect after one resident tested positive.

For the second straight day a new record was set as Ontario reported 1,328 new active cases of the virus Sunday along with 13 new deaths.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
