Leaves left uncollected around the city being picked up Saturday

If your yard waste wasn't collected in Sarnia this past week, you're urged to make sure it's at the curb for pick-up on Saturday.

The city said the collection of leaves was delayed in parts of the city due to high volumes.

Marcotte Disposal will work this weekend to complete outstanding yard waste collection from Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and apologizes for the delay and inconvenience to residents.

All items must be out before 7 a.m. on collection day and no earlier than 6 p.m. the previous evening.

Yard waste includes leaves, grass, weeds, straw, hay and unpainted pumpkins, with no collection limit.

Weekly November yard waste collection is scheduled until November 20, and there are two additional yard waste pickups scheduled in December.

Brush collection will be done between November 23 and 27.

Pickup in parts of Corunna, including the areas of Paddock Green, Argyle, Belmont, Beechwood, Glenesk, and Clairwood will be done Monday.
