There is one new case of COVID-19 in Sarnia-Lambton

In its daily update Sunday morning, Lambton Public Health reported one new case of COVID-19, bringing the number of active cases up to 18.

Of the 401 confirmed cases of the virus, up one, 358 have been deemed resolved.

There are currently no outbreaks and the death toll is unchanged at 25.

Bluewater Health reported Sunday morning that there is one person in hospital with the virus and 13 patients with tests pending including pre-surgical screening.

1,534 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Ontario Sunday surpassing 1,500 for the second straight day .

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
