Non-life threatening injuries in Petrolia-area vehicle fire

Lambton OPP say one person was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a fully involved vehicle fire outside of Petrolia Friday night.

First responders were called to the area of Petrolia Line and Black Ash Rd. before 10 p.m. -- they arrived to find the single occupant in need of medical assistance a short distance from the flaming car.

Petrolia & North Enniskillen Fire Department say the scene was cleared later that night.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
