Syrian refugee family prepares meals for Inn of Good Shepherd

A family of Syrian refugees has decided to give back to the Sarnia-Lambton community.

Nour and Naser Othman have prepared 40 Middle Eastern meals that will be delivered Friday to clients of the Inn of the Good Shepherd.

Nour told Blackburn News that the family wanted to help out those less fortunate after being welcomed with open arms by the community in 2016.

The Othman's came to Canada with their three children in 2016, and have made a great transition since then, getting involved in programs, including learning English at the YMCA.

Their children are involved in soccer and hockey, and the family is looking forward to writing their citizenship exams.
