UPDATE: Winter weather travel advisory ended

Environment Canada has ended a winter weather travel advisory for Sarnia-Lambton.

The advisory was issued at around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday and it came to an end before 10:30 a.m.

The weather agency said a narrow band of heavy snow moved through the region early Wednesday morning dumping a couple centimetres of snow.

The conditions lefts area roadways, including the Highway 402 and Highway 40, mainly snow covered for motorists.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
