Police awaiting post mortem results in 402 off-ramp death investigation

Sarnia police are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination as the investigation continues into the discovery of a body off Highway 402 Tuesday.

Just before 12:30 p.m., police were called to an area near the southwest side of the eastbound off-ramp to Exmouth Street and Indian Road.

A highway maintenance employee alerted police.

No other details have been released yet.

The off-ramp was reopened to traffic at around 3 p.m.
