OPP briefly close 402 while 'tracking individual'

Lambton OPP briefly closed Highway 402 in both directions, between Forest Road and Nauvoo Road, early Monday afternoon as part of a police investigation.

In an email to BlackburnNews.com, Constable Jamie Bydeley said the road was closed for safety reasons while the OPP's emergency response and K-9 units tracked an individual on and alongside the highway.

Cst. Bydeley said due to the nature of the event, police won't be releasing any further information.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
