Driver of vehicle with three flat tires charged with impaired

Sarnia police laid an impaired driving charge after stopping a vehicle with three flat tires Friday morning in the area of Clifford and Christina Streets.

Police were called at around 9:10 a.m. for a report of an erratic driver.

They believe the flat tires were caused by the vehicle going over train tracks in the area.

A 25-year-old woman is charged with impaired operation and having a blood alcohol concentration of 80-plus.

She's to appear in Sarnia court February 16.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
