Woman sought in early morning stabbing on Davis Street

Sarnia police have issued an arrest warrant for a 41-year-old Sarnia woman, accused of stabbing a man at a home on Davis St. Tuesday morning.

Police said it happened in the 200 block at around 12:35 am.

They said the 57-year-old male victim was taken to Bluewater Health by Lambton EMS, and then transferred to London hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Lindsay Rene Smith, of no fixed address, is wanted on one count each of assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.

Police are asking the public not to approach the suspect because she could be armed and dangerous.
