Sarnia man's ship comes in, wins $250K Instant Battleship prize

A 36-year-old Sarnia man's ship came in earlier this month when he won $250,000 playing the Instant Battleship game.

Alan Lockhart, a skilled tradesman, said he initially thought he had won $1,000, which he was happy with.

“When I scanned the ticket using the OLG Lottery App and it said I won $250,000 – I couldn’t believe it!”

Lockhart said he plans to invest in real estate and buy some new sport toys with his winnings.

“The world is mine for the taking! This will be a stepping stone for the next part of my journey,” he said. “This is a dream come true – it’s surreal.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Christina Coffee Plus on Christina Street in Sarnia.
