Lambton OPP lay fifth impaired driving charge in 2021

Lambton OPP laid their fifth impaired driving charge of 2021 following a single-vehicle rollover Saturday night.

Police were called to Churchill Line in Plympton-Wyoming at around 9:20 p.m.

Police said the driver was showing signs of impairment.

He was taken to Lambton OPP Headquarters where he allegedly provided two breath samples above the legal limit.

A 33-year-old man from Sarnia is charged with operation while impaired. He was released from custody pending a future court date.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
