School buses cancelled in Sarnia-Lambton

Poor road and weather conditions have prompted school bus cancellations in all zones, 1 through 8, across Lambton-Kent Tuesday.

Environment Canada lifted a snow fall warning at about 9 a.m. and issued a snow squall warning for Sarnia and west Lambton. A snow squall watch has been issued for north and east Lambton.

The national weather agency said snow squalls are expected to move in off of Lake Huron this morning. Snow is expected to be heavy at times and accumulations of 10 to 15 cm is possible.

Strong winds gusting up to 60 km/h are expected to produce local blowing snow, resulting in reduced visibility.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and adjust to the changing conditions.
