London man clocked at over 150 km/h on Hwy. 402

A London man seemed to be in a rush to get to Sarnia when his vehicle was allegedly clocked at over 150 kilometres an hour on Highway 402.

Lambton OPP were tipped-off about a speeding vehicle on the highway in the area of Warwick Township at around 9 a.m. Friday.

After locating the suspect vehicle and getting a reading of over 150 kilometres an hour in the 110 kilometer an hour zone, the officer pulled over and arrested the 25-year-old driver -- he's charged under the Criminal Code with dangerous operation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
