A woman was taken to hospital and a Sarnia man was arrested after alleged assaults in the city's south end Thursday morning.
Sarnia police responded to a home in the 400 block of Talfourd Street just after 9 a.m.
They said a 49-year-old woman had been attacked with a sharp-edged weapon and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She has since been released. A 38-year-old woman was also assaulted, but did not require further medical attention.
Police said the altercation stemmed from an allegation of missing property.
Jordan Christopher Moore, 30, was in custody pending a bail hearing on one count of assault with a weapon and one count of assault causing bodily harm.
