Sarnia's redeveloped London Road Shopping Centre has landed another tenant.
Interface Centre for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is expected to be open by this summer.
Ellison Developments spokesman Darren Dawson said they'll be moving into the north building in the centre of the plaza.
"We've got it fenced off there right now because they're going to start to do their build out, they've already begun that now with hopes for them to be open at some point this summer," said Dawson. "Obviously with COVID restrictions right now, sometimes it can make building a little bit tricky but they're rocking and rolling and they should be open by this summer, so we're pretty excited about that."
The city issued a $1.1-million permit in January for interior renovations for the dental surgery clinic. Interface currently operates clinics in London and St. Thomas.
In terms of the overall phased shopping centre development, Dawson said they hope to make an announcement within the next couple of months about a multi-residential tower planned for the southeast corner of the property.
In June, Sarnia City Council approved an official plan amendment for an 11-storey, 133-unit building.
