A 32-year-old man has been arrested after leading Sarnia police officers on a lengthy foot chase early Saturday morning.
At around 12:10 a.m., police tried to stop a speeding vehicle in the area of Devine Street and Canterbury Court.
It's alleged the driver got out of the vehicle, threw his keys at an officer and began to run.
The man was eventually apprehended and was in custody facing charges of operation while impaired, operation while prohibited under the criminal code, resisting a peace officer, and flight from police.
