Police said the trailer was recovered by the Windsor Police Service in the town of Amherstburg.
It's unknown if the trailer's contents, including a generator and various tools, were also recovered.
Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
