Six-week maintenance turnaround underway at Suncor

Suncor says there's the possibility of increased noise, odours, and flaring at its Sarnia site over the next six weeks.

The company has begun planned maintenance at the refinery.

"Suncor's focus is on completing the maintenance work in a safe manner while minimizing impacts on our neighbours, our customers and the environment," said Senior Advisor, Community Relations Jennifer Meharey. "Every effort is being made to ensure disruptions from the maintenance work are kept to a minimum."

Updates, if needed, will be posted to the Community Awareness Emergency Response (CAER) line at 1-855-472-7642.
