COVID cases up 14, recoveries up 23 in SL

There were 14 new COVID-19 cases reported in Sarnia-Lambton Easter Sunday.

Lambton Public Health has reported a total of 2,931 cases since March 2020, including 50 deaths.

The number of resolved cases is up 23 over the past 24 hours, to 2,693.

There are 188 active cases and eight COVID-positive patients in hospital, up one from Saturday.

The number of active outbreaks is unchanged at 11.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
