COVID cases up nine, recoveries up 12 in SL

Active COVID-19 cases dropped by three in Sarnia-Lambton Sunday morning.

Lambton Public Health reported nine new infections and 12 resolved cases, moving the active cases to 108.

There have been a total of 3,119 confirmed cases, 2,957 resolved and 54 deaths during the pandemic.

The number of active outbreaks is at one.

Bluewater Health is reporting six COVID-positive patients in hospital, up two from Saturday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
