Lambton OPP 'Blitz' nabs break-in suspects in Dawn-Euphemia

Lambton OPP's general service dog Blitz was able to sniff out break-and-enter suspects Thursday morning.

Police were called about a suspicious vehicle at a storage facility in Dawn-Euphemia Township at 3:30 a.m.

Officers surrounded the property until the Canine Unit arrived.

During a search of the area, Blitz located one suspect who was taken into custody, and shortly after a second individual approached police on their own.

A 64-year-old man from Charing Cross and a 49-year-old woman from Bothwell were being held pending bail hearings on charges including break and enter.
