Body pulled from St. Clair River identified

Lambton OPP have identified the body of a man found April 11 in the St. Clair River, north of Fawn Island.

The Lambton County Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Service attended the scene and an investigation was launched.

An autopsy was conducted and police said the death is considered non-suspicious at this time.

The man has been identified as David Jurado, 31, of the United States.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
