COVID cases up 11 in Sarnia-Lambton

Sarnia-Lambton's health unit is reporting 11 new COVID-19 cases for a second straight day.

Lambton Public Health's update Saturday morning brought the total caseload to 3,249, including 56 deaths.

There were nine more resolved cases reported, bringing the recoveries to 3,113.

There are 80 active cases, up two over the past 24 hours. There are still four active outbreaks.

Bluewater Health has 11 COVID-positive patients in hospital, unchanged from Friday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
