Sarnia pharmacies starting to offer Pfizer and Moderna vaccine

Nine Sarnia pharmacies have started to receive limited supplies of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to offer first doses to residents.

The Ontario Government's pharmacy locator website states that once supply is received, first doses of the Moderna vaccine will be available to those 18 and up at Hogan Pharmacy on London Road, Metro Pharmacy on London Road, Rexall on Cathcart Boulevard, the Wal-Mart Pharmacy on Quinn Drive, and Shoppers Drug Mart on Mitton Street.

First doses of the Pfizer vaccine, for anyone 12 and up, will be available at Real Canadian Superstore on Murphy Road and the Shoppers Drug Marts on Exmouth Street, Michigan Avenue and Lakeshore Road in Bright's Grove.

Several of the local pharmacies have not yet received any doses of vaccine, and until they do, are not booking appointments.

Residents are asked to visit the pharmacy website. For a full list click here.
