COVID cases up 13, resolved up 11

Lambton Public Health reported 13 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Friday.

Since the start of the pandemic over a year ago, there have been 3,476 infections reported in Sarnia-Lambton and 60 related deaths.

The health unit said cases considered resolved went up by 11 to 3,377, increasing the active case count by two to 39.

There are two outbreaks, one at an unnamed workplace and one at Afton Park Place long-term care home.

Bluewater Health had five COVID-19 positive patients in hospital.
